This is how we do it... In Idaho!

So, some of you may not know, Idaho is known for our hunting and fishing... This is how WE DO IT!!!

This wolf was shot less than a mile away from their house, they're good friends of ours. He weighed 127#, 6 1/2' long, stood 36", he's the biggest wolf shot this season. She is the first women to shoot a wolf in Idaho. Chica chica, ya ya!

My first official steelie, I hooked it but I didn't cook it.

Brian's largest, it was about 30".

This mountain lion was shot after she killed an elk.

We do you find it necessary to shoot animals that have done nothing to threaten you? The wolf that was shot did nothing to do, except walk past your cross hairs. The mountain lion killed an elk, but only to eat. None of the animals you shoot kill for sport or trophy, only to live. You are awful people.

What a moron. If you understood the first thing about nature you'd know that a wolf that size or a bobcat that big near your home is not something you want. I hope you have a small child eaten by something you liberal piece of trash.

1ST GUY...LET THEM HUNT IF THEY WANT TO HUNT. THEY'RE NOT HURTING YOU WHATSOEVER, EXCEPT MAYBE YOUR POOR WITTLE FEEWINGS.
2ND GUY...THE FACT THAT YOU WISH DEATH UPON SOMEONES CHILD, JUST BECAUSE OF AN OPINION THATS SICK AND WRONG, MAN. YOU NEED THE LORD..
OH YEAH, AND THESE ANIMALS LOOK FUN TO HUNT!!!!...MIGHT JUST TAKE MY NEXT VACA. IN IDAHO

1st persons response was very logical and precise.
2nd person is obviously very uneducated and didn't catch the argument the first person was saying. 3rd person is obviously a hypocrite; if you know the Lord and your a Christian of some denomination then you would know IT IS WRONG TO KILL ANIMALS OUT OF SPITE AND SPORT!!! What don't 2nd and 3rd person get about the 1st person argument. Those Photos are of people killing animals for pleasure and posing with glee of their catch for just the sport; they would never eat the meat; and it will only be stuffed and mounted to gloat to their friends. Sick and a complete waste of a life no matter whether it's human or animal. You want to bring Jesus into it go back to church and refresh your mind on what the Bible actually says.

Oh and for the 2nd person. How do you go off on the 1st person wishing something on someone like that. Just asking, but whose the moron that wishes death upon a innocent life you don't know OR did know for that matter. And second of all if their is a wolf or bobcat that size that lives around you, you obviously live in the mountainous regions and sub-conciously accept that risk. If you cant handle it thats why they have cities and suburbs. If you don't like the country then move to the city. Wolves, bobcats, bears and anything for that matter that is in the wild and not harvested/consumed regularly for their meat is meant to be left in the wild, IT IS apart of nature and it's beauty. Now try following that, but i'll assume you just attack me with a complete illogical statement.

it sounds like you all are getting a little extreme. I happen to work in a national forest in Idaho all summer. The wild animals are simply a risk. Without risk, life is pretty boring. But there's also nothing wrong with shooting them if they are rabid or if they attack you, although it's probably a better idea to hunt the ungulates, overhunting of predators can result in overpopulated deer and elk, which increases the risk of diseased meat. I like animals, all of them :) except when they attack me...:(

The wolf was "reintroduced" into Idaho, against the wishes of most Idaho natives (surprise). There is a tone on this blog that these animals have the reasoning ability to "do nothing wrong" to humans. Their presence is a threat, and given the opportunity they would kill a human. Not because they are bad, it's because that is what they are wired to do. The logic for hunting them is simple. They have no natural predators. On average they have 4 cubs a year. The state provides tags so the numbers do not overwhelm and destroy our livestock and overrun are towns. If this logic seems flawed, then please consider that the Wolf were indigenous to all of North America in the 1700s. Would you also want them reintroduced into your neighborhood or do you just want them in ours?

wow? really? hunt if you wanna hunt... and it may hurt my feelings but it also hurts nature! he may kill a wolf packs alpha and they may track him down and kill him! Eben though it may not seem like too much just cause' of one wolf...but there are many other wolves that love him! and mother nature will give them something great to kill soon.....something that they wont stand a chance...and just cause' some people are crying and posting mean comments about them doesn't mean that you have to post mean comments back! its not about you! MIND YOUR OWN BUISNESS. hey, maybe its your late Christmas present and you love it SO much and people just trample all over it and spit on it! or maybe some neighbor is really hungry and broke and kills your dog and eats him! How would you feel? It may not be pets but it can look like one...and maybe that was a pet wolf that ran away! So just shut up you mean old comments abut hurting our "Feewings"... Really...grow up...Its just stupid to be such a jerk...MIND YOUR OWN BUISNESS. if you dont like the comments, then you shouldn't be commenting!
